Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about 4 Days Serengeti Low Season By Road Safari

What is the difference between the Serengeti and Maasai Mara?
The Maasai Mara in Kenya and the Serengeti in Tanzania are part of the same ecosystem separated by an international border. The Serengeti is much larger (14,763 km²) with more diverse habitats. The Mara is renowned for the river crossings; the Serengeti is celebrated for its vast scale, year-round wildlife, and the calving season.
How do I get to the Serengeti?
Most visitors fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport (Arusha) and then take a charter or scheduled flight to Seronera or another Serengeti airstrip. Alternatively, an overland drive from Arusha takes approximately 7–8 hours through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Are park fees included in the price?
Yes, all Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA) fees and Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCAA) fees are included in our quoted prices. There are no hidden extras.
Can we combine the Serengeti with other parks?
Absolutely. A classic northern Tanzania circuit combines Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti. We also offer Kenya-Tanzania combined safaris that include both the Maasai Mara and the Serengeti.
What accommodation options are available?
We work with a range of camps and lodges from comfortable mid-range options to exclusive luxury tented camps. We'll recommend the best options for your budget and preferred experience.
