The December to March calving season in the southern Serengeti is one of nature's most spectacular wildlife events. Over 8,000 wildebeest calves are born each day, drawing every predator in the ecosystem.
This 9-day itinerary covers Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Ndutu plains — tracking the Migration at its most dramatic.

Day 1: JRO - Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport in the evening, you will meet with your dedicated and Professional Driver Guide whom will transfer you to Arusha for your bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Full game drive Tarangire, Mto wa Mbu and Karatu
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park arriving Serengeti in time for a full day game drive in the park with picnic lunch and later on drive to Mto wa Mbu/ Karatu at your lodge for leisure, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Central Serengeti
After early breakfast, drive to Central Serengeti via Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) with picnic lunch and game drive en-route. Arriving central Serengeti in time for afternoon game drive in the park and later on drive to your tented camp for leisure, dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Central Serengeti
After breakfast, full day game drive with picnic lunch into central area of Serengeti sighting and following migration. Later on drive back to your tented camp for leisure, dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Central Serengeti - Ndutu Area
After early breakfast, morning game drive in the central Serengeti while heading to Ndutu area with picnic lunch and game drive en-route. Arriving Ndutu for afternoon game drive and later on drive to your tented camp for leisure, dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Ndutu Area
After early breakfast, morning game drive in the central Serengeti while heading to Ndutu area with picnic lunch and game drive en-route. Arriving Ndutu for afternoon game drive and later on drive to your tented camp for leisure, dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ndutu Area
After breakfast, full day game drive with picnic lunch into Ndutu area sighting and following the great migration. Later on drive back to your tented camp for leisure, dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Ndutu Area - Ngorongoro Crater/ Karatu
After early breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) arriving in time for a full day crater tour with picnic lunch down into the crater, and later on proceed to Karatu arriving in time at your lodge for leisure, dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Arusha, Zanzibar and Back home
After early breakfast, morning game drive in the central Serengeti while heading to Ndutu area with picnic lunch and game drive en-route. Arriving Ndutu for afternoon game drive and later on drive to your tented camp for leisure, dinner and overnight.
