Nairobi: this is the name given to the capital city of this beautiful land Kenya which is a Maasai word used to describe and mean the land of clean and cool water. The railway construction workers used this area as their depot and campsite back in 1899 which led to the popularity of the town and quick development which later saw the area being labeled as the capital city of the country.

DISCOVER NAIROBI
You will be picked up at your hotel after breakfast or at the airport if you have an early flight and also have a whole free day in Nairobi and proceed to the Daphne Sheldricks Elephant Orphanage where you will spend an hour with the orphaned Elephants and also get an opportunity to adopt one if you will be interested. Later head to the Giraffe Center and spend time with the rescued Giraffes and feed them for a moment and exit the center for lunch at a very famous grill restaurant, The Carnivore Restaurant. After lunch join your driver guide and proceed to the memorial Karen Blixen Museum and increase your knowledge on the African/Kenyan way of life. Later proceed to the local bead factory, The Kazuri Bead Factory where you will get a chance to get a souvenir of a hand crafted curio purely made of beads.
By doing this cycle you will have exhausted your day and you will have more knowledge to prepare you on the rest of your Safari and your guide will drop you off at your hotel in Nairobi.
